If your fuel tank runs out faster than usual, then you’ve faced typical motorcycle fuel problems that riders in cooler climates rarely see, because heat, dust, and stop-start traffic all gang up on your bike's fuel system at once. When you buy new motorcycle, you don’t usually expect such issues.

Below are the most common reasons for high fuel consumption in motorcycles running in Gulf conditions, what each one actually does to your bike, and how to fix it before your next tank disappears twice as fast as it should.

1. Heat-soaked engines: a leading cause of motorcycle high fuel consumption

This is the one that catches most newcomers to the region off guard.
