Sharmax Power Max enduro lineup now comes with Akrapovič exhaust systems

Sharmax is updating its performance-focused Power Max enduro lineup with Akrapovič exhaust systems. The new setup brings a premium exhaust component to motorcycles built for demanding off-road use. The Akrapovič systems are well-known for their lower weight, improved exhaust flow, and a more distinctive engine sound.

Akrapovič: premium exhaust engineering shaped by racing

Akrapovič is a Slovenian manufacturer of high-performance exhaust systems for motorcycles and cars. Founded in 1991 by former motorcycle racer Igor Akrapovič, the company has built much of its engineering expertise through motorsport.

Today, Akrapovič works across major motorcycle racing series, including MotoGP, WorldSBK and MXGP, and its racing programme has contributed to more than 200 world championship titles.

Akrapovič applies what it learns in racing directly to the exhaust systems it develops for road and off-road motorcycles.

With Akrapovič fitted to the Power Max lineup, riders get:

Lower weight: Lightweight titanium, aluminium and carbon-fibre components help keep the exhaust system lighter. On an enduro bike, this means less mass to manage on climbs, through tight sections and over uneven terrain.

Distinctive sound: The bike gets a deeper, more defined exhaust note — something many riders value as much as performance. The system is designed to produce a deeper, more defined exhaust note while keeping noise levels under control through dedicated sound-management solutions. 

Stronger power delivery: The system is engineered to improve exhaust gas flow and reduce energy losses. By controlling pressure waves in the exhaust, it helps prevent gases from returning to the cylinder at the wrong moment and supports more efficient power delivery across the rev range.

Durability: The exhaust uses heat-resistant materials selected for strength, thermal stability and corrosion resistance. This helps it cope with high temperatures, repeated impacts and the tougher conditions that come with intensive off-road riding.

Signature design and finish: Akrapovič pays close attention to how each exhaust looks as well as how it performs. Precise manufacturing, clean welds and carefully shaped components give the system a recognisable, premium appearance that stands out on the bike.
