Test Drive Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

The Test Drive is available only to individuals who:

• Are at least 18 years old or meet the minimum age required under applicable Qatari law;
• Hold a valid motorcycle driving license issued by a competent authority and legally recognized in the State of Qatar;
• Are legally permitted to operate a motorcycle within Qatar.

Sharmax Motors reserves the right to verify the validity of the driving license and identification documents prior to the Test Drive.

Deposit

Sharmax Motors may require a refundable security deposit prior to the Test Drive.
The deposit amount, refund conditions, and related procedures shall be communicated before the Test Drive begins.

Purpose and Duration

The Test Drive is provided solely for the purpose of evaluating the motorcycle prior to a potential purchase.

Sharmax Motors may determine and limit the duration, route, and specific conditions of the Test Drive at its discretion.

Safety Requirements

The Test Driver must:

• Wear appropriate protective safety gear, including a helmet;
• Comply with all applicable traffic laws and road safety regulations of the State of Qatar;
• Operate the motorcycle in a safe and responsible manner.

Sharmax Motors reserves the right to refuse or terminate a Test Drive if safety requirements are not met.

Risk Acknowledgment

The Test Driver acknowledges that operating a motorcycle involves inherent risks.

By participating in the Test Drive, the Test Driver accepts responsibility for their conduct during the ride.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted under applicable Qatari law.

Damage and Insurance

The motorcycle may be covered by insurance in accordance with the applicable insurance policy.

In the event of damage occurring during the Test Drive due to negligence, misuse, or violation of traffic laws by the Test Driver, the Test Driver may be responsible for:

The applicable insurance deductible (if any);

Any loss or damage not covered by insurance.

Liability shall be determined in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar and the relevant insurance policy terms.

Communications

By submitting a Test Drive request, the Test Driver agrees to be contacted by Sharmax Motors via phone call or messaging services (including WhatsApp) solely for the purpose of arranging and administering the requested Test Drive.

Promotional or marketing communications shall only be sent where the Test Driver has provided separate consent, where required under applicable law.

Data Protection

Personal data collected in connection with the Test Drive request shall be processed in accordance with Sharmax Motors’ Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws of the State of Qatar.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar.
