The golf cart is a compact vehicle for short-distance travel. It originated on golf courses but has become a common sight in resorts, condominiums, and private properties. Its small size and ease of use make it a practical way to transport people within a property without needing a full-size car.

Sharmax offers a range of electric golf carts with different seating configurations and equipment, to serve both personal use and corporate needs in Egypt.

Why choose Golf Cart?

The choice starts with the nature of the location: Do you need to move a family within a residential complex, transport guests at a resort, or have regular movement between buildings within a facility? The versatility of the golf cart makes it useful in large locations, when distances become too long for a comfortable walk and too short to warrant the use of a car every time.

Among the most prominent advantages of this category:

Compact size, easy maneuvering and parking within suitable lanes.
Quiet electric operation, with no gasoline consumption or exhaust emissions during use.
Reducing some of the maintenance items associated with combustion engines.
The ability to adjust operating expenses according to distance, charging cost, and battery maintenance plan.
Variety in the number of seats and accessories to suit personal and commercial use.
Seats and equipment suitable for moving within designated locations, while adhering to load, speed and operating instructions.

For these reasons, golf carts find a place in the daily use of individuals and businesses. The right choice combines passenger capacity with the nature of the road, storage space, and on-site charging system.

Types of golf carts

When comparing new golf carts, you'll find differences in the number of seats, their layout, and operating systems. Understanding these details helps you choose the right vehicle without paying for unnecessary space or features.

Based on the number of passengers:

Two seats: one for the driver and one for a passenger, a compact layout for quick movement within private locations.
A 2+2 layout provides two front seats and two additional rear seats. Check the seat orientation and passenger provision on the exact version. The Sharmax Golf Cart 5000 2+2 is one example to compare.
Four or six seats: for transporting larger groups within resorts, venues, and events. The Sharmax family includes examples such as the Golf Cart 5000 4-seater Pro and the Golf Cart 5000 6-seater.
Larger transport vehicles: There are categories on the market that can accommodate up to 12 passengers or more depending on the design, and their function is similar to that of the internal shuttle for hotels and large facilities.

According to the operating system:

Gasoline: Relies on an internal combustion engine and refueling, making it suitable for locations requiring extended operation and lacking adequate charging infrastructure. Range varies depending on the model, tank capacity, and fuel consumption; power and range are not automatically greater than those of electric vehicles in all cases.
Electric vehicles: These rely on a rechargeable battery and are characterized by their quiet operation and zero exhaust emissions. This makes them suitable for locations such as resorts, residential complexes, and golf courses. Choosing the right battery and charger, as well as planning charging schedules, is just as important as deciding on the number of seats, especially if the vehicle will be running all day.

Advantages of buying a golf cart from Sharmax

1. Equipment designed for comfort and ease of use

The Egyptian specifications for the Golf Cart 5000 2+2, 4-seater Pro and 6-seater Pro list 5 kW AC motors, with a built-in charger and disc brakes with electronic parking. Compare the battery, display, lighting and connectivity equipment of the exact version rather than assuming every model is identical. Seating and cabin layout also matter, especially for transporting guests.

2. Special offers tailored to companies

A proposal can be tailored to a resort, hotel, or residential complex based on the number of vehicles, seating configuration, and daily usage. Group ordering allows for discussion of equipment, service, and supply within a single plan. This ensures the fleet matches the site's needs, rather than assembling vehicles whose capacity or equipment is unsuitable for the task.

3. Warranty with Clear Terms

Warranty coverage is determined by the model, version, and sales document in Egypt. It differs from routine maintenance, battery wear, and parts under operating conditions. Including warranty and maintenance requirements in your comparison helps you calculate the total cost of ownership, not just the purchase price.

4. Local after-sales service

The Sharmax service center in Cairo provides a point of contact for scheduling maintenance and ordering appropriate parts. For commercial use, the service plan is built around operating hours, load, and site conditions to minimize unplanned downtime and maintain vehicle availability.
